I felt that this test went well for me. I may not have gotten a high score, but I felt prepared for this exam and was in a good head space to take the exam. The last ATI test I had taken was the Pharm B and I did not perform well on that due to lack of concentration. I made sure that when taking this maternity test I was prepared to sit down and take the test. I am about halfway through my maternity course so I knew that going into this I may not know the answer to every question. I think that I could have waited to take this exam but I also had the time in my schedule to take it when I did. I think that if I had waited I may have been able to get a higher score but could’ve been more stressed with my workload or unable to concentrate. I think that this test was the most interesting to me and I was able to focus and thoroughly read the questions and answers. I think that this test showed me that I do know a lot already about maternity and how to care for a laboring mother. I think the only downfall was the timing of taking this test, but as I stated early, there never seems to be a perfect time to take these ATI tests. I am excited to continue in my maternity course and learn about the things that I got wrong on this ATI test.
