I feel that my assumptions related to ethics and a nurses role are that a nurse could work to create ethical conduct research studies and also use studies to better their care to patients. I feel that most nurses are involved more in taking research and applying and not so much involved in the study itself. Ethics plays a big role in nursing and doing the right thing and also understanding others opinions. I think that a nurse has good input on ethical topics just because they work so closely with the healthcare team and also the patients. I think that as ethical conduct research is released, a nurse should take that information and try to implement it. Nurses really can be on either side, either conducting research, implementing or both.
